Q: Is there a money back guarantee if I am not satisfied?
A: No, once software is opened, we have no way of monitoring you if it was copied and used on other computers.

Q: Do you have a GIS SOFTWARE Trial Version?
A: Arrangements can be made to get you a trial version. please send us an email to request.

Q: Do I need to buy additional licenses if I want to run GIS Software on other computers?
A: Yes, there is a site license that you need to purchase if you wish to load the software on multiple computers within your local. The unlock code you receive from us when purchasing the software is good for the machine the software was installed on.  If you install the GIS Software on another computer it will simply become a 14 day trial.  You will not be able to use the same unlock code to unlock it.  You will need to purchase an additional unlock code (i.e.license).

Q: I just bought a new computer and want to transfer my existing license from my old computer to the new one. Can this be done without purchasing a new license?
A:
Yes, you can transfer a license from one computer to another assuming you are using the new GIS SOFTWARE.  But once the transfer is complete, the original software on the old computer will no longer be licensed and thus GIS Software will not function.  If you want to have both computers running the software, then you will need to purchase a site license. 

Support and Maintenance Questions and Answers

Q: Is technical support free or do I have to pay?
A: Technical support is available free of charge for the first 14 days. You can purchase a 6 month maintenance package for $250 per user that includes technical support and software updates that can be downloaded from our site.

General GIS SOFTWARE Questions and Answers

Q: I have an old version of GIS Software and want to upgrade.  What is the easiest way to get started?
A: Updated versions are available to our Maintenance Suscribers and are available on the website. Follow the instructions to download and install. It is highly recommended that you backup your database before you install any updates.

Q: Does GIS SOFTWARE print the grievance form?
A: Yes, GIS SOFTWARE comes with the ability to print an authentic looking grievance Form (Form 8190)
as well as many other reports.

Q: Can GIS SOFTWARE print mailing labels?
A:
Yes, you can print mailing labels but you must use the Avery 5262 forms.

Q: Can I scan documents and attach them to my printed reports?
A:
GIS SOFTWARE supports scanning of documents. You may only scan one document per report at this time. See manual for instructions.

Q: Can I import membership data from another application other than GIS SOFTWARE that already has my data ?
A:
Not directly,  call our technical support team and we can import the data for you.  We will discuss your data requirements and what data you need from your old program then depending on the requirements we will import or create a custom import utility to import your data into the GIS SOFTWARE databases. There may be a slight charge for this service.

Q: Can I export Data from GIS SOFTWARE?
A:
Yes, membership data can be exported to a text file format which can be used by other programs to create mailing labels, reports, envelopes, etc.  Although the system does not have the ability to export all possible data in its system, it is possible to get to all the data in GIS SOFTWARE because it uses standard Microsoft Access databases.

Q: Can I customize GIS SOFTWARE or do we have to pay to do customization?
A:
GIS SOFTWARE is customizable for a fee. You should contact us to discuss your customization needs and the cost of such a customization.  Current versions of GIS Software is able to add your logo directly to all reports.

Q: Can I run GIS SOFTWARE between several computers on a network?
A:
No, GIS SOFTWARE is a stand alone product. We are currently completing a web based program that will have all of the features included.

Q: What language is GIS SOFTWARE written in?
A: GIS SOFTWARE is written in Pascal.

Q: What Database does GIS SOFTWARE use for data storage?
A: GIS SOFTWARE uses Microsoft Access 2000 databases to store its data. For security reasons, this database cannot be opened on it's own.
